About the event
About the workshop
In this workshop we will open with a somatic grounding and centering practice, then we will learn all about the fascial system, explore its properties and functionality and the concept of biotensegrity. We will then apply this knowledge to your yoga practice.
Deirdre will guide you through myofascial release techniques you can use to get a true release of the fascial system. This practice will allow you to connect on a deeper level to yourself and you will free up your fascial system allowing space for physical and emotional release.
There will be a guided journaling practice and coming together to connect with one another, to share and reflect on our experiences during the practice.
You will leave the workshop feeling empowered with new skills and tools to release your fascia, help reduce your pain, and enhance your connection to your mindbody and your yoga practice.
About Deirdre

“Myofascial Release helped me to come back into my body. To remember who I truly was, to shed layers of conditioning. It has given me relief from physical pain and helped me to release emotional trauma. This work has transformed my life and that of my clients. The ripples of positive change spread far beyond the original issue."
Deirdre has a private practice in Gothenburg, where she treats clients one on one with myofascial release to help them get out of pain and back to their active lives. She also teaches self-myofascial release classes and workshops.
