Studio policies + etiquette

To ensure a smooth practice

STUDIO CONDITIONS
As a student and paying customer of A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB, you agree to the following studio terms and conditions:

Respecting the space and others in it

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class. Late entry 3 minutes before class can result in you losing your place to someone on the waitlist.
Please refrain from leaving class early (unless it is for a medical or other serious reason). If you do need to exit, please do so quietly.
Student’s will respect each other and refrain from passing judgment on another’s practice, beliefs, or being.
Classes are subject to change or be canceled without much notice due sickness and unforeseen teacher situations. A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB may refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind, for classes that are canceled by us for any reason.
Teachers are subject to change at short notice and sometimes you will have a substitute teacher.
Upon completion of a class, workshop or event, you are responsible for cleaning any equipment used with the cleaning supplies and materials provided by the studio.
You agree to not film or take photos of people during practice unless you have been given permission or if A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB is using the materials for promotional purposes. In which case, all members will be notified in advance.

Taking responsibility for your own practice and health

You agree that you are in good physical health and physically able to perform yoga movements and other related physical activity in the studio's offerings. If you do not feel you can perform certain movements then you will adjust to your own capabilities.
Failure to move at your own body’s capacity will be at your own risk and could cause injury that the business and instructors of A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB are not responsible for.
Classes may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury or death.
If you are pregnant you should consult with your Doctor if you are able to practice yoga. A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB and it’s instructors are not liable for your decision to practice yoga while pregnant.
During any family and child classes or courses, the guardian of said child is responsible for their well being and safety during practice and while at the studio.
A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB is in no way liable for any injury, loss of property or death resulting from attending our studio & taking part in all activities.
You must be 18 years of age or older to be a member of A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB unless accompanied by your legal guardian.

Abiding by our business policies

To sign up for our services you must create an account and book your classes on our website via www.aniceplaceyoga.com
Check in at reception before each class or you may be subject to a fine of 70 SEK and marked as a 'no-show'
A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB is not responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings within the studio. We have provided a space where you can keep your belongings in the lower level.
A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB & teachers employed by the company have the right to refuse someone entry into a class/studio at any time for any reasonable cause, including but not limited to: misconduct, intoxication, medical grounds, poor hygiene, or failure to comply with the studio's conditions.
To book a class you must either have credit in your bank account or pay at the time of booking. Class payment must be made upon booking and prior to taking the class.
By booking a class/workshop/event at A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB, you automatically agree to our studio Conditions.
A Nice Place Yoda Studio AB has the right to change our terms, services, and policies. We will provide our members with at least 14 days notice of any such changes.
Students under the age of 18 must have a guardian present during practice.
During any family and children yoga, the child’s guardian is responsible for their wellbeing.
A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB will sometimes take photos or videos of students during practice for promotional purposes. By signing this agreement, you consent to having your photo or video taken or agree to be placed in an area where you won’t have to be seen during filming.
Some classes will be live-streamed when we start an online-live streaming service. You are aware that you may be enrolled in a class that is recorded live. During this time you will not be seen on camera.
By using our services, you consent to receiving electronic communications from A NIce Place Yoga Studio AB.

When signing up to be a paying customer at A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB we will need to collect your following data: name, address, email, card details, bank account details, social security number, and invoice details.
Your personal data will be used strictly for business purposes and will never be disclosed to the public or to unrelated third parties.
We may ask to take photos or video in the space while classes are ongoing for promotional purposes. If you wish to not be included, we will ask that you be moved to a place in the studio to avoid being seen. We will also provide notice of any photography or video capture in advance.

CLASSES
Our class booking and waitlist policies

Book classes in advance to avoid disappointment. Classes will become available 10 days in advance.
If a class is fully booked, there is a 10 person waitlist which you can join via Wix member app. If someone else cancels their booking and you are at the top of the waitlist, you will be booked into the class. We recommend that you regularly check your email to see if you have been given a place in the class.
If a spot becomes available to you, you will have 1 hour to claim your spot. Failure to claim your spot within 1 hour will result in the next person on the list being asked if they would like to attend (so it’s a good idea to keep an eye out!)

CANCELLATIONS + RESCHEDULING

Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure everyone has a chance to practice as much as they’d like. Nobody likes to miss out on yoga, so please take note of the following!
Cancellations can be made via our website www.aniceplaceyoga.com or the Wix members app
Class cancellations must be made at least 6 hours before the class start time.
Students who fail to attend a class will be charged a 70 SEK no show fee.
Students using an Intro Card, Drop-in, Class Card who book into a class but fail to attend will lose their class / class.
Cancellations will not be accepted via phone, email or social media.
You may reschedule your spot up to 24 hours before the class begins.
Events and courses are non-refundable.

Unlimited classes, valid both in-studio and live classes

Lite monthly membership

5 classes per month, valid both in-studio and live classes
2 month commitment
Monthly payment made indefinitely until canceled via www.aniceplaceyoga.com

10 class Class Cards

10 classes valid for in-studio classes and live classes.
Valid for 3 months
You may not carry over the period of 3 months nor get a refund for any classes not used on the card after the 3 month period.
You may not share the card with anyone else.

Welcome pass

3 classes per pass
Valid for 7 days
Only 1 pass per customer, you cannot continuously buy this pass if you are a repeat customer
Classes must be booked within 7 days. No refunds for unused classes.

Courses, Events + workshops

Payment for any courses, events, or workshops needs to be made upon booking.
Please arrive at least 15 mins before the scheduled start time of any event.
Late entry to workshops will not be permitted or refunded.
The teachings and beliefs of our studio teachers and workshop hosts are those of their own and may not necessarily reflect the views and beliefs of A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB.
A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB does not offer refunds on courses, events, or workshops for change of mind. All purchases are final.
If you cannot attend, you may transfer your place into another person’s name. It is essential to inform A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB at least 24 hours before the start of a workshop.

Pausing Memberships

If you need to pause your monthly membership you may do so by emailing hello@aniceplaceyoga.com.
There will be a fee of 250 SEK for pausing your membership for 1 month. If you need to pause for any other length of time please send an email.

Purchasing retail items

You can purchase retail items in the yoga studio via Swish.

PAYMENT

The monthly membership is valid for all in-studio classes and live classes.
You will also receive special offers on some workshops, events and retreats.
You can become a member through our website and booking system at www.aniceplaceyoga.com
Monthly memberships run indefinitely every month until canceled via ‘my subscriptions’ on our website: www.aniceplaceyoga.com
Monthly memberships become active from the day you select at checkout.(For example, you purchase your membership on April 5th but you select April 7th as your first class. Your first month membership is now valid from April 7th to May 7th.)
The minimum commitment for membership is 2 months which is paid once per month automatically.
If you wish to cancel your membership, you must do so at least 1 week prior to your billing date otherwise you will be charged for that following month. (For example, if your membership payment happens on the 7th of each month, you must cancel your membership by the 29th, 30th or 31st (depending on which month it is) of the previous month to avoid another month of payment.)
Receipts are sent each month via email you signed up with.
To terminate your membership, you do so on your profile under ‘my subscriptions’
When signing up to be a paying customer at A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB we will need to collect your following data: name, address, email, card details, bank account details, social security number, and invoice details. If your payment does not process on the day it is due, you will receive a fee to cover any processing costs that A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB may incur from our payment processing platform. If payment fails on the due date your membership will be temporarily marked as 'cancelled', the system will continue to try to charge your card for 7 days and once the payment is successful your membership will become active again.

DISCOUNTS
We believe that yoga and movement is an inherent desire and should be accessible to everybody! A Nice Place Yoga Studio AB is happy to offer a 15% discount on our monthly memberships and 10 Class Cards for those who need some extra help paying for their membership. Please email hello@aniceplaceyoga.com to chat with our studio owner to see if you qualify for our discount.

REFUSAL
We reserve the right to refuse in-studio:

Those who show abusive and/or discriminatory behaviour to staff and/or students
Those who have neglect their personal hygiene
Those who disrespect our studio and belongings to the studio

REFUNDS

All items purchased at the studio are non-refundable
All items in the shop include 25% Moms (VAT)
