About the event
Day 1: Building Strength and Flexibility (Friday Feb 16)
We'll begin the weekend with a challenging and flowy Vinyasa practice where we will build strength and flexibility to discover different movement patterns, play and explore. This will give Tobi an opportunity to meet you where you are in your own unique way. The individual elements of this practice are characterized by functional movements that are linked together in a creative and fun way.
Day 2: Finding your foundation (Sat Feb 17)
Today will will spend more time focusing on the basics of arm balances. We wil look at the necessary techniques and skills and try to find the first advanced asanas on our hands. We will also work on flexibility to promote mobility in relevant muscle groups. You will deepend your understanding of balance and learn techniques to stay stable in arm balances!
Day 3: Spend the day upside down (Sat Feb 18)
Today we will try glide through different arm balances with patience and curiosity, building strength to take off for a moment. You will learn how to specifically build your strength to achieve advanced arm balances and find your own path on your hands and new possibilities with the right technique and alignment.
All levels are invited to this experience. Join in, find your flow and make a difference
More about Tobi 🙂
Tobi's yoga practice follows a modern approach, is flowing, dynamic and at the same time very powerful. He enjoys jumping, balancing and being physically challenged during practice to feel the connection between mind and body. With him you will work on your strength and flexibility, but also on your inner self. In his personal practice, he likes to incorporate arm balances and is often upside down on the mat. He will challenge you at a good level in your practice, but also ensure that you leave the mat feeling good. Tobi draws his inspiration and knowledge from his travels, his teachers (Patrick Beach, Briohny Smyth, Dylan Werner) and research into his own practice. “Train your mind to see the good, train your body to feel good.”
